Basement Waterproofing in Paxton, MA

When this customer from Paxon, MA called, she had standing water in her basement. She was tired of pumping it out by hand and then having to mop what couldn't be pumped. She set an appointment with a System Design Specialist for a free inspection and written estimate.

Our crew installed WaterGuard sub-floor drainage around the perimeter of the basement to collect water and direct it to the SuperSump pump. Then the SuperSump pumped the water to the discharge line where it exited via the LawnScape Outlet. The LawnScape directed the water away from the foundation of the home.

Basement Waterproofing in Sturbridge, MA

The crew went out to Sturbridge, MA to waterproof a basement. As you can see in the first picture, there was a large amount of flooding on the floor. This was because there was no crushed stone beneath the foundation, which is crucial when building a foundation. The crew installed WaterGuard sub-floor drainage, a SuperSump pump and a TrenchDrain by the bulkhead. They also installed a SaniDry XP dehumidifier which cuts humidity to below 55%, making it impossible for mold to grow!

Flexispan Crack Repair in Dudley, MA

Our team was called by a homeowner in Dudley, MA who was looking to fix a crack in the wall of their basement. A System Design Specialist went out to inspect the problem and decided that using Flexispan would be the best solution for this home.

Our crew cut the finished walls as necessary to install the Flexispan crack repair system.

Flexispan differs from other crack fillers or sealents in two major ways. First, Flexispan eliminates the use of messy epoxy injections and instead seals the crack with a flexible sealent that will stop water seeping through the crack. The other key factor in our Flexispan system is that it doesn't end with sealent. Our system uses an additional step to make sure that no seepage will make it pass the sealent. A second layer of beveled foam is used, which would drain any small amount of additional seepage down into your drainage system or into a small drywell created under the basement floor.

Water Seepage in Bolton, MA Basement

A homeowner in Bolton, MA called Leader Basement Systems with an urgent concern regarding water seeping into his finished basement. Water in any basement is of great concern and when the basement is finished it includes a whole other element- all of that money, time, and memories within that finished living space may be gone.

As with any customer we need to act fast with standing water- and so we did. Owner, Craig Leader went to the home and evaluated the space. Craig recommended our patented WaterGuard® basement drainage system as well as a SuperSump. Our WaterGuard® is unique in that it is installed inside the basement instead of the exterior and it efficiently drains any water coming into a basement space. It is nearly invisible and there's no possibility of corrosion or decay! Alongside the SuperSump- the water will be drained away from the home!

If that isn't a winning pair I don't know what is!

It all started when he needed help with some dampness in his basement that we were able to solve using our SaniDry™ XP Basement Air System. We are always happy to see him during our proactive service calls to ensure our system is working as smoothly as it should.

Curious how a SaniDry compares to other dehumidifiers? It manages a 109 pint capacity, comes with a built in defroster and plugs into a standard outlet.

We are always "to the moon" when we have the opportunity to help one of our local homeowners improve the health and longevity of their home, and it is our honor to continue serving those with our systems so that we hold true to our commitment to quality products and support.

Crawl Space Repair in Bolton, MA

This local homeowner was in need of some crawl space repairs before selling her home. We were pleased to meet with her and explain our products and systems and how they best solve the current concerns within her crawl space.

As any homeowner knows, the air beneath the home in either a crawl space or basement effects the quality of the air being breathed in regularly in the main floor level. It was wonderful this homeowner wanted to clean up the lower conditions for the next owner, but we would love all homeowners to enjoy clean indoor air! Iif you haven't had your homes basement or crawl space looked at recently, please give us a call so we can ensure the air in your home is healthy as possible.

In this homeowner's case, we needed to remove all of the current insulation that was damaged due to water and debris. We installed our CleanSpace CrawlSpace Encapsulation System including the liner, drainage matting, and a SaniDry CX.

All in all, we are proud to say that she enjoyed the new and improved crawl space and indoor air quality! She sold her home quickly, and we like to think our system was a part of the reason why!

Basement Waterproofing in Sutton, MA

One of our customers in Sutton, MA needed some help keeping his basement dry when it rained.

We install products and systems that make a basement space more usable, healthy and dry. Our system is installed on the interior or the inside of the foundation so that it never gets clogged or damaged by anything like tree roots, silt, etc. Our interior system strategically collects any water seeping in through the ground or walls BEFORE it gets to the center of the basement floor. We surround the foundation with a drainage system and then connect it to a sump pump to direct the water out and away from your home. We utilize dehumidifiers and waterproofing wall materials to take care of humidity, musty odors and mold. One added bonus to making these changes to your basement is the influence it will have on the air quality within your home. The basement air heavily effects the air being breathed on the first floor of the home, so ensuring it is clean of mold spores, odors, and water issues definitely positively influences your home's overall environment.

This particular customer received a customized system including our WaterGuard® basement drainage system, the TripleSafe™ system that has three pumps in one and a battery backup for when the power goes out, IceGuard® system that allows for water to discharge from the sump line even when it's freezing outside, LawnScape™ Discharge Line Outlet, and the CleanSpace Wall System. We installed 120 units of our WaterGuard® and CleanSpace®.

Needless to say, our customer now enjoys a dry and healthy basement as well as a yard that doesn't get inundated with the water from the sump. We think of every aspect to make your system suit your home, yard, and budget.

Holden, MA Waterproofing

This morning our production crew visited a home in Holden, MA. The homeowners had explained that the basement had been flooding as the snow melted. Due to the pandemic, the crew was clad in red Leader Foundation Solutions masks to protect themselves and our customers from COVID-19 .

First, the crew hung a plastic barrier to prevent unnecessary dust and debris from entering other parts of the basement. Next, they used drills to remove the portion of the concrete floor that would contain a perimeter drain called WaterGuard. They also cleared a place next to the steps leading into the basement where the sump pump would be installed. Mickey started to remove large, heavy barrels of crushed stone from the truck while Tommy and Tyler began to fill the perimeter with the crushed stone by hand.

Discharged Water in Dudley, MA!

When this customer called our appointment center, her basement was flooded. Even before the flooding occurred, she'd had issues with humidity she'd been ignoring. She was fed up,and decided once and for all she was going to call someone to handle the issue.

When our crew arrived, there were two large cracks in the walls that had been spreading. They used Flexispan to seal the cracks and stop the spreading. They added TranchDrain to where the water had been accumulating along with a SuperSump and a discharge line, where all of the water would be sent away from the home. When she saw how much water was coming out, she was very glad it was no longer collecting on her basement floor! Finally, to deal with the pre-existing humidity issues, the crew plugged in a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier.

Bolton, MA CleanSpace

When this customer called, she was very concerned that she had let her flooding crawlspace go for far too long without help. Our Appointment Center Representative assured her that we could send a Systems Design Specialist out to find the perfect solution to fit her needs.

The crawlspace was very wet inside when our crew arrived. They fixed the seeping walls by installing 128 square feet of CleanSpace with drainage Matting underneath. They regraded the drainage to direct water flow to the sump pump and removed the debris from the space. TerraBlock flexible insulation was added to the floor and SilverGlo wall insulation to the exterior walls where needed. They then installed a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier to the space by using threaded rod mounts to hang it from the floor joists to keep the humidity low.

This customer was very thankful to have had a solution worked out specifically for her space!
